This Salted Honey + Brie Crostini recipe is a sophisticated yet simple dish that celebrates creamy, savory, and sweet flavors. The combination of ingredients is a perfectly balanced bite, with the brie's warmth, the crostini's crunch, and the honey's sweetness.
Ingredients
- 1 baguette, sliced into ½-inch thick rounds
- High-phenolic olive oil (like Kyoord), for brushing and drizzling

8-10 oz brie cheese, sliced into ¼” thick pieces
- 2-3 tbsp honey, preferably floral or light in flavor
- Fresh rosemary, thyme, lavender, or oregano for garnish
- Sea salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black or pink pepper, to taste
Directions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet and lightly brush each with olive oil. Toast in the oven for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp.
- Remove the crostini from the oven, Place a slice of brie on each toasted baguette slice, and return to the oven to partially melt for another minute.
- Remove from the oven, transfer to a serving platter.
- Drizzle honey over the brie, and garnish with fresh herbs.
Drizzle a small amount of high-phenolic olive oil over the honeyed brie. Sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt and black pepper to taste.
